Great reception of the Air Freight Solution Platform (AFS) by the airfreight forwarders in the year 2018

Due to the recommendation of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to convert the electronic Air Waybill (e-AWB) into the default transport contract for all air cargo shipments on authorized commercial routes, Ateia Oltra convened user seminars in Madrid and Barcelona. PORTEL LOGISTIC TECHNOLOGIES attended these seminars to present its Air Freight Solution (AFS) platform, whose ultimate goal is to implement a Cargo Community System (CCS). This step will result in the total digitization of air transport, whose main step is to manage the Air Waybill (e-AWB), the FHL, the transport order and the arrival notice in electronic format.

Once again, Ateia Oltra became a meeting point for PORTEL with several potential freight forwarding companies, not only from Spain but also from other countries in which PORTEL is present, given the importance of the digitization of air transport.

All this is due to the fact that PORTEL‘s AFS platform responds to the need to get the most out of the electronic data exchange by offering a range of safe, simple and profitable solutions and services for air transport operators. The main virtue of this platform is allowing all operators to comply with safety regulations and therefore work more efficiently, integrating the customs administration in the process.
