New validations of data in messaging Manifest and Downloaded Summary Declarations

From 2nd March 2015, the Tax Authority will launch a series of new validations to improve the control of goods loaded and unloaded in Spanish ports. These validations affect Cargo Manifest and Downloaded Summary Declaration messages.

The documents are as follows:

• For Summary Declarations: Validations on Downloaded Summary Declarations.
• For Cargo Manifests: Validations in Cargo Manifests.

Portel has already made the necessary adaptations to its systems to comply with these validations. All users are recommended to read and apply validations in order to avoid unnecessary rejections when processing messages with the Tax Authorities.
