The European Association of Economy and Competitiveness (AEDEEC) recently granted the European Award for Corporate Quality. With this award, the organization wants to acknowledge the companies committed to total quality based on competitive results, market leadership and improvement of R+D+I processes, without neglecting the ethical conduct of the companies towards society and the environment. The Award also wants to act as lever to motivate companies to implement plans for total quality.
This has been the first edition of the Awards, acknowledging the work of more than thirty companies of different sizes and from different sectors, but all with quality and competitiveness as the pillars of their activity. One of these companies is PORTEL, referred to by the organization as “a reference in the development and implementation of ICT solutions in the port industry and maritime transport”.
The Award was granted in a special ceremony held November 30 in Madrid. The event was hosted by the journalist Emilio Javier Gómez Plaza, who also presented the awards as honorary member of the European Association of Economy and Competitiveness.
