Portel Logistic Technologies visits, as exhibitor and speaker, the Port Management Association of West and Central Africa in Lomé, Togo

Continuing with its internationalization strategy, Portel Logistic Technologies was present at the 40th Annual Council meeting of the “Association de Gestion des Ports de l’Afrique de l’Ouest et du Center (AGPAOC)”, which took place June 17 to 20.

AGPAOC is composed of twenty-four (24) full-fledged ports and nine (9) associate members, including landlocked countries and maritime organizations, all located along the West African coast, extending from Mauritania to Angola, covering a coastline of approximately 9,400 km in the Atlantic Ocean.

On this occasion, Portel Logistic Technologies, leading company in technological solutions for the port sector, has taken the opportunity to present its wide range of products and services to its main target market, all the delegations of African ports present at the conference.

In addition, Portel Logistic Technologies attended among other companies, as one of the Gold Sponsors of AGPAOC event, which allowed the company to present to the main decision-makers of the African ports one of its single window products for port authorities, the Port Community System (PCS), the first stage to become a Single Window for Foreign Trade.

The next event that Portel will attend is the “7ème Edition de la Conference Internationale sur les Guichets Uniques”, September 17 to 19 in Yaoundé (Cameroon), where the main theme is to unlock the potential of electronic commerce and, in turn, optimize the international logistics chain of landlocked countries.

Ultimately, Portel’s intention when attending this type of event is to position the company at an international level, in this case in Central and Western Africa, through its subsidiary Portel Africa, based in Casablanca, Morocco. Along the same lines, one of the final objectives of the company is to develop and strengthen the Portel brand as one of the market leaders in ICT solutions.
