The Port Authority of Tarragona (Autoridad Portuaria de Tarragona – APT) has granted Portel Logistic Technologies S.A.U., a reference technology company in the development and implementation of ICT solutions in the maritime-port sector, two public contracts tendered by the APT.
Firstly, Portel has been granted the contract for “ICT Support and Maintenance Service for the APT“, whose purpose is to carry out the maintenance and repair of the information technology equipment of the APT and, secondly, they have also been granted the contract for “Management and issuance service of accreditation cards for accessing the Port of Tarragona“, in order to manage and issue the APT entry cards.
Portel prevailed against its competitors after submitting the best technical offer in the contract for “Management and issuance service of accreditation cards for accessing the Port of Tarragona“, which will have a duration of 2 years.
Also, it should be noted that Portel‘s proposal has been the best valued in the tender for the other contract awarded, “ICT Support and Maintenance Service for the APT“, as it presents the quality-price ratio. The duration of this contract will be 3 years.
Thanks to these grants, also understood as a renewal of the services that Portel has been providing to the APT since 2013, the Port Authority of Tarragona continues to rely on the services provided by Portel.
